This case uses three angles, front, front-overhead and crown whorl, to record the frontal hairline, central scalp and crown before and after surgery. The three angles show the before-and-after differences in hairline outline, central scalp coverage and the whorl area separately; the actual technique and allocation still need to be assessed based on the extent of hair loss and donor supply at the back of the scalp.

How Is a Forehead and Crown Transplant Planned?
When the forehead, central scalp and crown are all involved, the doctor checks the extent of hair loss, donor density at the back of the scalp, hair calibre and the risk of future hair loss, then discusses the priority of each area. The actual technique and possible graft count must be assessed at an in-person consultation.
